Hand of God

I heard the Hand of God

In the next universe at dawn.

Drinking the wine of the dark New York night

I’ve be stomping on bent vibrations.

Color coded notes lay perched on my thighs

inside its codex is the answer to time.

Past stories fall off like rotten stalks

in the loam I lend my ears

for the slip-thin promise of Spring.
